    Real candy for connoisseurs!

Oh good grief - this guy is blatantly dishonest! Another fantasy document, but look at his description.

"Hi! Original period WW2 item. Found it the attic with original uniform.
Worldwide shipping. What can I say more? See photos and bid.
    Real "candy" for connoisseurs."

The tunic, in another of his auctions, is a joy to behold also!

Yes - the document is nothing new. It's the shameless quality of the seller's description that appealed to me.

They're made in Easten Europe, some guys from the western hemisphere buy them en masse from the makers then sell them on ebay, short bus commuting collectors buy them only to be enlightened at some point with the reality, then they resell them on ebay.

Thus you have the endless circle of these 'pieces of paper' being commerced on ebay, that and cheap 1950'6/1960's watches and cigarette cases with SS division logos glued on the face or a cast badge soldered on the front.

I like to refer to them all as the ebay specials, found exclusively on ebay and at auction houses.

Either that or Wittmann and friends. ltd ©, are hoarding them all waiting for everyone to forget about them, then "finding" them in a barn in Germany and selling them with a complementary period issue Wehrmacht edelweiss toilet roll.

Who knows, it's a serious business after all.

After 20-30 years people will claim they are real because there are so many.

Sadly Jeff, many a true word is spoken in jest! Hoard them now and be prepared to unload them when the market's right.
