buy today with an old woman = my husband is in french 2eme DB he take this paper with other things in the AH house in Berchtensgaden in may 1945! no in very good condition but look sympathique for me what is it? pleased thank for your help!

Very nice and quite unique. He kept all these at the Berghof in a specially constructed case.
To this day he is an honorary citizen in many towns and cities...sometimes even now the town will officially "disown" him....usually some hysterical Marxist on the local council

I agree! This certificate from the Town Council granted Hitler Honorary Citizenship of the village of Wolfertschwenden, a municipality in the district of Unterallgäu in Bavaria. Such citizenship documents arose in reaction to public knowledge that Hitler was not previously a German citizen, and after his appointment as chancellor, lots of cities and towns wanted to be known as his "home!"

A very nice piece of history! Do preserve it well!
