    Might be a crazy question

    Hello;
    OK, this is probably a crazy question but might as well ask eh.
    I have acquired a medal group of a soldier w/ 2x family photos. What are my chances of finding any other photos of this soldier?? I have no ID numbers nor which units he was in.
    Just a name, date/place of birth, date/place of death and that he was a Pioneer.
    Not looking for his unit records, just some photos for a nice display.
    Thanks

    that would be very tough.. But it can happen that someone may have some photos with this fellow in them. I know of two instances where this has happened on this Forum. Post a photo of him and see what happens... Mike

      Unless your soldier is well known and highly decorated....the preverbial "Needle in the haystack" applies!!! Then again it is possible for someone to track down any surviving family members in Germany which I again refer to the needle in the haystack. - Bill
