Hello I got this from a friend who won it in an auction recently. It's a document grouping all to one man, Heinz Joost, from what I tell so far he was in medical school and possibly became a doctor, an SA-mann, an interpreter who spoke French, and competed in sports earning an sa sports badge. And that's just from the little I've translated so far, some of the documents like the rfd card i haven't seen before. There are 2 different pictures of the man and a small one possibly of his family, along with what looks like a couple of stamps he collected. There are dates on the documents from 1935 to June 1944 and I imagine he survived the war and no idea how his documents ended up in an auction in Arizona. Thanks for looking, any help with translation or identification or info on this man would be much appreciated, all opinions welcome!

A nice little set to a translator. The Reichsfachschaft für des Dolmetscherwesen was the official German authority that certified foreign language skills. The stamp on the front of his ID indicates he was qualified for military purposes only. There were three levels of abilities: Dolmetscher (fluent), Sprachkundige (basic understanding) and Ubersetzer (translate written only). There is a long winded military regulation about their use.
