Signature appears on an Hoffman original picture. Could it be a genuine handwritten signature?

Hitler diaries

Hi Max,
Who was the forger behind the Diaries scam ? I read somewhere he made a living doctoring old photos with Hitler's signature and making a comfortable living, all pre- internet days of course,
