I picked up a really interesting pic yesterday. Seems like this member of Rgt. "Theodor Eicke" kept his cuff title and collar tab when he moved to "Handschar" but he fixed the Edelweiß and the croatia patch onto his sleeve.

Definitely an unusual image, thanks for posting! The transfers went both ways. The last commander of SS-PGR 6 Theodor Eicke was Wilhelm Breimaier. He had spent the war in second-line units such as SS-Totenkopf Standarten, the Legioen Nederland, and the Prinz Eugen Division. He was transferred to take command of Reg. TE after Franz Kleffner was KIA in March 1945.Comment
