Iron Cross 1st Class is signed by Karl Allmendinger, RK on 17th July, 1.941 as Generalmajor and commander of 5 I.D., Oakleaves on December 13th, 1.942 as Generalleutnant and commander of 5 Jäger Division.

Iron Cross 2nd class by General der Artillerie Wilhelm Fahrmbacher RK on June 24th, 1.940 as commander of 5 I.D.

Hucks did the good job

Last one (Ostmedal) is captain KRONENWERTH. No important Awards so far. Promoted Major 1.1.43. His Unit in Peace time was the M.G.Btl.4. On 1.6.44, he was affected to the Gen.Stab in Berlin.

Some additional info:

Georg Bachmann was born in Eisendorf, Germany. He died while in the field hospital of 2. Kompanie Sanitätsdienste 5 near Wyssotowo, Russland. He is buried in an unmarked grave, probably in Korpowo, Russland.
