      As far as I remember here was a general named Bodin de Galembert.

            That's a train car in the background.! Some of the soldiers have, exercise band attached to helmets.!

              yes i can't find any other pictures with such helmets and H & M.

                Benito Mussolini visit to Germany, as he is in the photo. 1938 ?

                  Sorry, his visit was in 1937. Hitler took him to watch military maneuvers but I don't know where. Tom

                    all right thank you that explains also the old helmet pattern.

                    i looks a lot like this lalendorf meeting here on september 26th 1937

                    with Generalfeldmarschall Werner von Blomberg.

                    what do you think ?

                      The eagle order star is in diff position on the uniform in the two pic's. IMO two diff days on the pic's. Tom

                          I think that is the 'Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus' not the Eagle order as that is the only one I know of that has a cross bottony
