It is his military career from the beginning 2 Nov 1937 til his Ritterkreuz award and finally ending as Oberfeldwebel in POW in US army custody 22 Feb 1945.

It states he was recommended for the Knight's Cross on 19 July 1944. No mentioned of it being awarded in 1944. Captured 22 February 1945. Then, written in ink bottom left, Knight's Cross 17 March 1945. His letterhead reads "Ritterkreuzträger". Helmut Strojek is definitely listed as a Knight's Cross winner.

Yes , the problem was the person I bought the items from said his first name was Siegfried and not Helmut. That's why I was having so much trouble finding him
