Hi,
the biography of Debbaudt is available in the next book :
http://www.lulu.com/shop/gr%C3%A9gor...-23488217.html
Debbaudt is the most known "Walter Mitty" of the "Wallonie".
Born in 1929, deceased on June 28, 2003.
Enlisted in the "Wallonie" division as civilian volunteer on October 15, 1944 ("Effort wallon" from October 18, 1944), he is sent to the pioneers company in Radischau.
He then deserted the division in 1945 (never took part in the fights as he deserted before his unit was sent to the front), and went back to his parents in Belgium.
He is then denounced, and acquitted during his trial due to his youth (15 years old).
After the war he will became a fanatic of Degrelle, and was part of various right-wing movements in Belgium.
Claimed to have voluntereed for the "Wallonie" since 1942, with a officer rank and various medals, he was rejected by the veterans but loved by Degrelle.
In the next picture, he is on the left.
Many more infos in the book of Grégory Bouysse i listed below...
