    SS Officers Signature

Just a query really, in the back of a wehrpass i recently picked up was a photocopy of a letter sent by the company commander to the lads mother giving details of how he was killed, im wondering why i have a photocopy, is this a signature of a known LAH officer making the original letter more valuable, or perhaps the family kept the letter as a keep sake? Anyway thanks in advance

    Hi,
A date and/or unit- or Feldpostnumber might help.
    Best,

Yes, I think Leibl1 is right: Heinz Peinemann. At the time Chef 2./PGR 1 LAH.
