I agree that we can't tell anything from the pix, but the copy of MK is a nice early one in the deluxe leather-trimmed edition.

The handwriting seems to be his, but from the photo it does not look hand-signed to me. Possibly a limited numbered edition for members of some party organisation, as per the inscription.

                Regards

It's difficult to tell for sure from the photos but the entire inscription appears to be printed IMO.

I felt it was printed too.

                          The dedication reads:

"Für besonders erfolgreiche Werbetätigkeit in Dingen der Zentral-Organe".

It may be implied Hitler wrote it in 1930, since the MK is the 3. printing of 1930.
Interestingly, the book appears to be numbered "No. 125" on the title page. The cover is not standard, so this might be a special edition - certainly one I have not seen before.

I don't see how the dedication could have been printed. Please look at it with a magnifying glass, traces from the pen should be visible. Question remains whether handwritten by Hitler or an imposer.

Another observation is the location of the dedication. Under the portrait you'd usually only find his autograph (later editions featured a printed one, and he used to add his signature there), while a dedication would be found on the page facing the cover.

Further, I am not sure Hitler would have personally dedicated a number of MKs (?) as rewards for outstanding sales activities for the NSDAP publications. However, the fact for pushing these in the early 1930s appears to be historically correct.

Many thanks for your comments so far - first of all I´d like to post a scan of the 3rd edition Volksausgabe, which is almost the same - except that there is a printed signature below the Hitler-pic.
IMO this numbered edition was made for a certain purpose - probably a limited edition as a special gift from the Führer with a personal dedication.

Now the last attempt to post better pics of the dedication and the signature - which IMO shows clear signs of being handwritten and not printed.
So IMO the question is whether it was written and signed by Hitler or not ???

                              Danke, Peter
