Airfield at Auxerre france October 1940

I have a few photos of an airfield taken in October 1940 with a 109, Ju52 and possibly a Do17 destroyed. The marking on one of the planes could be B11 or BU. The photo is marked on the back as Auxerre which is a city in France well away from the coast. Auxerre seems to be an odd location for an airfield for use against Britain given its distance from Britain and also to have destroyed aircraft? Any help explaining this would be appreciated, regards graeme

First photo is light damage from heavy flak.

The next I think is a Bloch MB.170 or alike.
