EK2 Document Signature Help Please?

A friend has sent me the following signature from a KM EK2 document. Is anyone able to identify it?

It's Gunther Lütjens. Is this not the doc that was on sale on the e-stand a couple of days ago?

I do not know if it was on e-stand or not. The document you saw did you regard it as being 100% okay? It does sound like it is possibly the same one.

I checked and it's not the same doc although it's awarded on the same date and at the same place.


I guess it's to a crewmember of the Scharnhorst or Gneisenau? Although by this date the Scharnhorst had returned to Germany for repairs, Lütjens along with the Gneisenau and Hipper were still in Trondheim (the Germans called the city Drontheim for some reason).

It's most likely that the award was for the sinking of the aircraft carrier Glorious and her two destroyer escorts.

I believe Weitze also had an EK 2 document such as the one I just sold on the e-stand. Maybe one of the other "big" German dealers....I forget. But it was the same date / sig / ship.
