    Kesselring's Signature?

Here's an order issued on 21 August, 1944, giving advance warning of a change in German positions between Florence and Bologna. I picked this up due to a general interest in German paperwork, but received an unexpected bonus when I noticed it appears to have been personally signed by Kesselring - something the seller hadn't mentioned and it wasn't reflected in the price. This looks like a fairly hurried version of his signature, but is it actually his?

Whether it is or not, it's still an interesting document - given the date and area of operations that it deals with.

    Your views are welcomed.

    Cheers,
    Michael

Interesting document but it's not signed by Kesselring.

Thanks - do you think it's a facsimile produced by one of his subordinates?

It is signed by a Staff Officer.
