Can Anyone Date these Images of German AFVs?

    Hi all

I have acquired a Luftwaffe photo album and am trying to place some of the photos. AFVs are not my forte and I wondered if anyone can confirm whether these images date to the Battle of France or early in the Russian Campaign.

    Any help appreciated.

    Best wishes
    Tim O.

The Panzer III are russian campaign - most likely 1941.

Last pic looks like france 1940.

                Very nice pics !

Cool "Rostock" marking on the 4th photo.

The last one is France as the model of Panzer III (701) with the track removed did not serve in Russia.
The first picture is of a Panzer III belonging to 13 Panzer Division so that places it in Russia in the summer of 1941. I believe that I can also make out the 13 PD sign on the front of the Panzer III with ROSTOK on its front plate.
The civilian car in Picture 3 has the unit emblem of II./JG3.

Thanks for the added detail Alan - it is really helpful. These are all out of an album from II./JG3 so their badge features quite a lot in the images.

Thank you all for comments and help.

I think the top of a K (for Kleist) is visible on the left rear of the armoured car in post no.2

                    Best wishes
