    EK II awarded for the fighting around Rzhev. The signature on the Wound Badge is Hauptmann Pankow who was a long term member of GD's Ersatz und Ausbildung organisation.

      Can you show more of the photo's? looks interesting
      I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
      Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

              Very interesting and quite scarce signature - Gustav Streve, Kommandant des Fuhrer-Hauptquartiers.

                On the contrary, it's from after the surrender in may '45 and photos like this are quite rare.
                Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

                    After may '45. I'd guess between june and august. It's a bit difficult to see but notice that there are no cap eagles being worn, also look at the state of their dress, very sloppy and no belts or indication of decorations. In addition the photo is clearly taken in the summer and late on. GD, or large parts of what was left of it, also went in to British captivity in North Germany which also fits with having the opportunity for taken such a photo.
