    Wear of the EK2 Ribbon Bar

    This photo is dated on the back 8.1.44.

    Note how the ribbon bar has the Russian Front ribbon first, followed by the EK2 ribbon, then the Romanian Anticommunist ribbon.

    I suspect this soldier put on his awards for a studio photo and he got the 2-place ribbon bar on backwards; the Romanian ribbon bar looks to be a 1-place ribbon bar, separate from the first ribbon bar.

    I would agree the the backwards bit.

    I once caught the CFCWO walking into NDHQ with his on backwards one early summer morning many years ago.

    I pointed it out to him, got the second meanest look I ever had in my life then a mumbled thank-you as he looked down and then flipped it around.

    If memory serves me correctly it was a thee piecer as well
