There were many USMC airmen over Europe

I only know of a very few USMC Airmen who served in the ETO in wwII, there where I think three with the RNAS in the north Atlantic and apart from that a small detachment to train on night-fighter orations with the RAF in 43, That is all I know of.

The Egale Globe and Anchor would of have to come from one of the very few OSS operatives that the USMC had in the ETO and even smaller number of ONI operatives.

A downed airman would not be the source.

Great photo,thank you! Yugoslav Army in Fatherland.JVuO was fighting the Germans.Chetnik on this photo was legalaized in Milan Nedic Goverment. Nedic was Governer of occupied Serbia.Completly two different kind of chetniks in ww2.
