    Is an Erich Hartmann Sig worth anything?

    I dug this out of my files the other day -- I've had it since the mid-late 70s. It obviously came with the book originally, but I don't remember ever having the book to go with it. Does something like this have a value outside of a "that's interesting" comment?

      It certainly has a value. You can scout around some of the militaria sites and autograh dealers and see what they are asking. Their prices will be top end. Being from the book makes it unique also. Nice piece!

        An autograph from the greatest fighter pilot in history is most definately valuable. It would look nice framed up with pictures of the 3 pilots. Or see if you could marry it back up with a copy of the book. Nice signature. Cheers!
