            Good Evening Gentlemen!

One of the two medals with the ribbon fixed on the pocket (the bigger one)seems to be an Italian Military Valour Medal. Definitively not bronze. May be Silver or Gold. Hoping it can help to identify this man.

            Best greetings

I beg your pardon, but looking the ranks in the photo I thought he was an unteroffizier (oberfeldwebel, I suppose). May be he became Hauptmann later?

By the way I can easily be wrong

Hauptmann was his final rank.....the photo shows him as an Oberfeldwebel....as I stated he won the RK 21.12.1942 as an Oberfeldwebel.

Here's another photo of him as Obfw.

                      /Ian
