Siberian Cossack

I were studying some photos today, and then i noticed this Siberian Cossack officer has a sleeveshield on both arms. I have never seen something like that before, and my natural question will be: Have some of you collectors seen this on uniforms for sale, stripped (shadows) or on period photographs.

A helpful member informed me that it is most likely a campaign shield KRIM or KUBAN.

It didnt even crossed my mind, i was so focused on other possibilities.

Nice photo with indeed Krim / Kuban shield on left arm.
This officer would not be a member of of Gen. von Pannwitz's staff ? I have the impression to recognize him.
