5. Pz. komp. Grossdeutchland set

I'd like to present this nice group of award documents to a panzer. I have never noticed the small book like this before which looks like a soldbuch without the cover (Wehrstammbuch). Its great that the set is enhanced with some recipient pictures wearing the black wrapper. You can see also the Grossdeutchland cuftitle.

Any chance of seeing the Panzer Assault Badge citation please?

Strictly speaking it isn't actually Grossdeutschland as such.
V/Gren.Rgt Grossdeutschland is actually the Führer-Begleit-Bataillon, the designation of V/Gren.Rgt GD was used as a sort of cover name with the 5.Kompanie being it's Panzer-Kompanie.

Ehrenfried Boege (RK & EL) has signed the EK citation.

The awards were issued for the fighting at Narva when 5.(Pz.)/FBB was a component of Gruppe von Strachwitz.
