Can anyone translate for me?

I have several dozen original b/w photos from the late 1930's and early 1940's depicting German troops in various locations. I believe they include Africa and Europe. A number have handwritten descriptions on the back. Can anyone translate them for me if is post links here? I'd love to know what they say.
