what do you guys think?
I know this is this forum is focus mainly on German related topics but I was looking over more closely a grouping from a US sailor that served on the LCI(L)33. This the benefit of a new scanner but this I think is a neat photo. The subject matter appears to be landings on a beach. The question I have is it loooks like the coast of Africa to me. What do you guys think? Mike

Thanks guys. Simon that is one of the two chioces. I did research on the LCI(L)33 and they were involved in both N. Africa and Scicily invasions. By the look of the beach area I was thinking Africa as my impression of the Scicily landings were either close to a city or right on top of one.
This grouping is interesting as all the pics appear to be Mediteranian and I have a few more showing landings if anyone would care to see tham let me know. MikeComment
