Signature of a high sea fleet document

    Hello guys

I need some help regarding a signing on a high sea fleet document for the battleship TIRPITZ.

Would it be possible that the U-Boat chief Norway, Koteradmiral Rudolf Peters (german cross in Gold on the 6th September 1944) signed on a high sea fleet document for the battleship TIRPITZ, dated September 1944?

    Any information is helpful.

    Tirpitz

    Hey Jürg,

yes, it is possible. From 06.1944 - 10.1944 Konteradmiral Rudolf Peters was the commanding Navy officer of the so called 1. Kampfgruppe (Befehlshaber der 1. Kampfgruppe). Among other battle ships was the 'Tirpitz' a part of this unit. Therefore Peters was able to sign a high fleet document.

Rudolf Peters was before commanding officer of the submarines in Norway (F.d.U. Norwegen) from 01.1943 - 05.1944, than he was transformed to the 1. Kampfgruppe.
