Photo of “Dienstausweis für Polizei” question

Hello People,
I have this “Dienstausweis für Polizei”, but I have one doubt about the photo. One of the stamps does not match the photo and the document (stamp of right side). The photo was replaced?

You are right. It could have shifted but the damage to the photo (looks like mold) doesn't seem to be on the Dienstausweis itself.

An explanation for the discolouration to the photo not being on the background surface could be the chemicals used in the development process. The reaction to the air and moisture would be different.
More worrying is the misalignment of the stamps and the lifting of the photo from the Ausweis material.

Would the Dienstausweis be made of linen/oil cloth therefore not likely to absorb moisture. The photo seems to have absorbed moisture at some point causing mould to form, some shrinkage, lifting and curling of photo. Cheers, Larry
