Hi,

more infos about the various destructions of the dam, including the 1941 one by the NKVD, which killed up to 100000 russian civilians and soldiers.

vince, thanks, looking at your reference, it appears my photos were taken before the dam was blown up? The photo from the air I can believe but the photo taken from the left abuntment does not show any obvious damage? regards graeme
