I recently picked up this piece at auction and only realised it was the original artwork on
thicker card stock once I opened the parcel the other evening.
I have never seen another so I do not know whether posters were produced
from this piece or if any survived.
I could not find much information about the artist, Egon Plamper (1913-1982) other than
he mainly illustrated books after the war.
This one was a must have as I had lived in Heidelberg for a while back in the
early 2000's and have a strong connection to the place. Anyone who has been
there will recognise the Heidelberger Schloss in the background of the artwork.
