Hmmmmm doesn't this seem a little too much for a KVK2? The whole document looks contrived to me. Joe

No, I am not talking about the award. I understand that many folks earned a KVK2.

I just think the document is a bit over the top, embossed stamp and a Hitler "signature". Why not a local Dienstelle stamp and a signature of a company commander or so. Just my opinion, but the document seems contrived, or made up. Just my opinion. Joe

Without searching anything else, I'm pretty sure you can find Hitler/Meissner combos on these KVK docs pretty much all day long. It's actually a fairly standard format, I believe.

Try doing a search of this forum, using perhaps "KVK Hitler" or similar. I'm too dead tired this evening to do it. But it would give you a good idea.

It's a perfectly standard run of the mill format for a KVK2 o/s to a civilian.

I am almost pretty sure everything is correct.
Are they also pretty rare ??
The document as such of course but with the name AUSCHWITZ on it ??
What would be a reasonable price ??

I fully agree. "Auschwitz, Oberschlesien" in 1942 would not make a higher price to me.

                Kind regards, Peter

I think you'd have to establish a link with the camp complex rather than just the place name.

You might be right. It has probably nothing to do with the Camp and if that is the case it is a normal 50,00 euro urkunde
