The Afrikakorps started to arrive in North-Africa in early 1941 in small numbers. Most of the deathcards you find are from 1943, 1942 or late 1941.

What's the earliest DAK deathcard you guys have?

Johann Steib was a member of the Afrika Korps and got killed at the 16th of april 1941, most probably during the early stages of the siege of Tobruk in Lybia.
