facsimile or auto-pen on Hitler signed document

    Hello all,

I have this document here and I was told this was a auto-pen but under close examination I think I see blotted ink in the overlapping ink. Are my eyes playing tricks on me?

I digitally watermarked the first image.

to me I see overlapping and bleeding. Would auto-pen display and pick up these traits from the original before reproducing?

      It's an obviously printed signature.

so what am I seeing, just extra ink on the stamp or something like that? Thank you for your help, I really appreciate you looking at this for me but is there anything you can teach me about what you're seeing and how to tell?

The type of document it is for starters.

Amount of ink used can make a huge difference.

Printing ink is still ink and the porous quality of the surface material to which it is applied can still cause bleeding. Under strong magnification, your example will display even distribution, but with slight air "bubbles" where the plate has been directly lifted from the surface. Handwritten examples do not display this characteristic because the nib has been "dragged" across the surface.

                  Patrick,

Here is mine to compare. You can see what Max means when he says the nib has been "dragged" across the surface.

                  Regards,
                  AB.

PS. Your Goring signature looks to be an original. ie, non auto-pen.

Ya know the best way to know for sure its printed?

Take a look at this. Its another document. Now compare it to yours, they are exactly the same in every way. No one can sign they name exactly the same twice.
