I always liked this photo - he looks like he was standing too close to a puddle when a car sped by. Wrinkled uniform, crumpled armband, limp hat, and a scowl like a wet cat. Really lousy haircut, too. I think as soon as the picture was snapped, he jumped up and started beating things with his riding crop.

Definitely having a "bad 'stash" day, it was likely the photographer he went after with the riding crop after it was published!
