Hi All,
I have this Soldbuch to a Dr. Heinrich Martin:
Summary:
Born 13.3.1901
Educated medical doctor, (Frauenarzt), gynecology.
Enlisted 4.10.1939 with rank of Sanitätssoldat (san.soldat).
Fast promotion;
04.10.39: San.soldat
07.11.39 san.gefreiter
14.11.39 san.unteroffizier
28.11.39 San.Feldwebel
29.11.39 Unterarzt (u. RSOA)
01.10.40 Assistenzarzt
01.01.41 Oberarzt
01.11.42 Stabsarzt (d.Res.?)
So, 2 months of training and he is appointed Unterarzt.
And how about the top of page one in his Soldbuch; “den…..Unterarzt d.res” – and later stricken and the word “Sonderführer” is added.
Would he at first be a reserve-unterarzt and later Sonderführer..?..because he was a doctor.?.and then later being called up to active service and run through the basic military training.?..Or is the unterarzt title “just added”.?..and maybe he slipped out of the active duty in 1944..?..maybe due to an injury for which he got the BWB on 4.11.1944..?..and became a Sonderführer..?..
Can anyone tell me what kind of shoulderboards this man would wear..?..normal, with konrblumenblau waffenfarbe..?..or would he have a aesculap-stab on the boards..?..or whould he be wearing the normal Aesculap-patch on the lower right sleeve..?..
Below pictures of the SB,
Thanks for looking and thanks for any input..
Hans Kristian
