    The new color-slides

Thought I open a new thread to show the color-slides that I talked about in another thread.
After I had made repros on a regular film and after I got them from the photo-shop, I was in fact a bit disappointed.
The quality is not as good as I thought. My repros are too bluish and a bit blurred too. And I haven't noticed that they slipped when I took the photos. The quality of the originals is better.
    However, here they are:

Next one is for my opinion the best one. Note the self-propelled gun at the left, probably a Marder.

That one was interesting too. The soldier in the middle is wearing a camo-jacket, looks like those that the LW-Felddivision wore. The truck at the right has a nice camo painture.

These are not all, but the rest is not showing anything interesting.

I think they were made on the retreat. Late war, maybe even spring 1945 somewhere closer to the Reich.

    Kind regards
    Robert

    Hello Robert

Nice photos. It's a shame the photos have too much blue in them. However scans of the photos can be altered to show the right colour.
Hope you don't mind but I altered one of your photos in Photoshop 8 by taking out all the blue and the original colour magically appeared. Here's an example.

      The new color slides

Hi Robert and Larrister, Thanks for sharing the color photos on your new tread Robert, I like them very much!!!
Hello Larrister, you have made a great job with your Photoshop 8, maybe it is possible you put the other photos in the Photoshop, I think Robert has no problem with that! Hans

Excellent colour slides! Great to see late war colour slides showing the german retreat, so much footage is taken earlier in the war and showing the german vitories, but this is quite different and very interesting! Thanks.

This is me collecting slides (Im 22 in this photo but i age dreadfully)

          Hello Larrister,

pretty good job. That is how the original slides look alike. I don't mind if you do that improvement on the others too.
The originals are also sharp and not blurred as the repros. But I expected this already, cause the slides were cut from the roll of film and they were not even when I took the photos, so my camera could not find the sharpest point. ( Huuh, that is difficult to express in english and sounds silly, sorry )

Akira, if You're still interested in them, send me a mail.

          Kind regards
          Robert

Thanks Robert. Colorizing, repairing and editing scans of photos is a hobby of mine.
Here are the rest of your photos as they are meant to look.

Very nice. It's remarkable what a bit of colour can to to a photo.

                          Best regards/ Daniel

That is incredible !! What a difference to my bluish first attempts. How did You do that ! Fantastic ! Extraordinary good work, Akira.

I know that they are in good hands now.

                              Kind regards
