    Help with rank etc

    Hi,
I have a couple photos of my grandfather and was curious if it is at all possible to determine his rank, division or any other information. Unfortunately these are the only ones I have of him in uniform. If it helps any, his title on his marriage certificate is Kreisfachgruppenwalter. I've found virtually nothing searching that title, let alone anything in a military context.
    Thanks so much.

Nice rare crusher cap and tunic. Appears PanzerElite is correct as it appears to be a Pioneer Lt, or 2nd Lt, Combat Engineers in our services.

At time of marriage, his title Kreisfachgruppenwalter would place him in the Deutsche Arbeit Front (DAF) as some type of County (Kries) section administrator, a mid level position in the DAF. Hope this helps.

      regards
      Randy

A person as this was a district-level manager (Kreiswalter) for a specific "branch of a trade union" (Fachgruppe). The branch-group is of interest.

Can you tell us his name? If he's a Pionier officer, it's possible I might be able to find some information about him. Do you know if he survived the war?

                  All the best,
                  Jason

His name was Konrad Franz Dublinski. He did survive the war. He was taken POW in '44 or '45 and returned in '46.
If you need any further information I'll do my best to provide.
                    Thanks so much.
