Thats a great pictures Zoeller, those 5cm mortars are always a favourite of mine, would'nt midn getting one and pesturing the neihbour with it

I don't know much about helmets. I will let the experts describe this helmet. The decal on this helmet is one of the clearest I have seen in all pics of German helmets. What do you all think?

Luftwaffe helmet

As a student of the field divisions of the Luftwaffe, this is by far my favorite photo as it confirms something that I always suspected: a mix of Heer and Luftwaffe issue items to the grenadiers after the fall of 1943. The first grenadier is wearing a Heer decaled helmet. Unfortunately, the quality of the scan does not really do the photo justice as the decal is plainly evident in the original photo.
