That is a beauty.

I can only speculate about the unusual badge on his right pocket. It's certainly not German and I suspect it indicates graduation from a military school in an Axis satellite country- maybe something like the "Slovak War College" in Bratislava, if there was such a thing. Something about it says "Slovakia" to me, I don't know why.

Other badges on tunic of this Oberleutnant include the Allgemeines-Sturmabzeichen (General Assault Badge), the EK I, Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber or Gold, and ribbon for another non-German award with crossed swords.

Gentlemen,

The unknown badge is the "Commemorative Badge of the Light Motorised Division"

It was issued to men who saw action with this Slovakian Division during the years 41-43.
