concentration camp photos C-1

I just picked up a grouping of concentration camp photos I will post pics when I get home. One is a German gurad hanging from a tree holding a sign (in Russian) that reads German murder. And pile of burntbones. On the reverse the are stamped C-1
Any idea what the C-1 stands for?

I guess it depends on if it is an American album or German ....could be section c photo one, but once you look the photos over if there are more it may be a clue depending on if and how the others are marked.

There all stamped the same in the lower corner C-1 the stamp is official looking. I just got this lot off the same guy I got the original medics helmet off of I'm betting the grouping went together.. There is a picture with aus GI in the back ground. So almost certainly us pictures.

#6 is the 'New' gas chamber building at KL Dachau and the dog kennels.

What is the C11 on the reverse of the pictured for? Are these rare is there any value. What does the sign the German is holding read.

It's not a German. The sign is saying: Wladimir Winogradow has murdered a German soldier in Witebsk on the 29.September 1941 .
