anybody famaliar with this book

came out of a collection I bought.. came from a us officer who was in charge of a German town during the post war occupation. its in really nice shape.. tnks in advance.. chad

It looks similiar to a NSDAP Propaganda book that was put out called You in the Book or something to that effect.

It showcased everything about the NSDAP and it's subsidiaries, and included everything right down the tiniest minicule of information.

Title states Gau which means it must of been given to Gauleiter of the region as a sort of 'handbook' so to speak.

Sorry my answer isnt complete, but i have seen those pages before somewhere...

The title Page in English reads as follows:

Alphabetical List of local groups and communities

As well as the Local service areas of
The German Labor Front NS Women's League NS People's Welfare

District Württemberg- Hohenzollern

The Gauleiter for this region at the date of 1939 was Gauleiter Wilhelm Murr.
