    Drivers Badge in Bronce Urkunde

    Hello all

In this document the word "Bronze" has been spelled "Bronce".

Is this a clerical error, or is this document a fake?

    Thanks in advance

i think this is not a fake one, just a spelling mistake,

Thank you for the feedback, Xin

I did get a good vibe on the document I showed, however the spelling error did bother me a bit.

Anyone else have examples of spelling errors in german citations?

I have a wound-badge document from 1940 with "bronce" typed in; while it should be "Schwarz" of course, it's the correct way of spelling.

The most glaring I've seen was a unit-specific printed (not typed) EK document that had "Im Namen des Fueherer und ...."

            Hi guys!

"Bronce" in German docs is not a mistake, just an older form of "Bronze" (see attachement).

            Kind regards, Peter

Thank you for the input, guys!

I did not know that "bronce" is the old german way of writing Bronze.

"bronce" French word and spelling introduced into German and in the 19th century germanized into "Bronze".
