Hello Guys !

YesterdayA few days ago i get this book :
Völkerkunde von Afrika (Ethnology of Africa), Baumann Turnwaldt-Westermann. ~ 670 pages, Year 1939/1940.
15 of 23 folding cards are listed, as well as bookmarks, and a glued-in list at the end of the book (see pictures) ...

The curious thing is that in this book are three (3!) Stamps are included.
They looks so (SS in "SS-Signs) -->

I go now assume that this book in a public library (or similar) of Hauptsanitätslagerl in Litzmannstadt was.

At the punch itself, I have unfortunately found nothing comparable in style.
Because here, in the part that now occur several different collections at one time I would have liked a rough estimate how rare that is, and what I could ask for roughly the thing. Does anyone know the punch/Stamp?

I have the same book with the same writing but it is missing "Hauptsanitätslager"
and mine is from the Frankfurt am Main (probably library aswell)

It is curious that "Hauptsanitätslager" is on yours. Maybe it was a library that specifically lend books to wounded soldiers?

A picture would be helpful though. Then more people, even those who don't own the book can help you.

One thing in can tell you is, that this ss stamp does not raise the value of the book that much.
Maybe some SS Collectors would give a little more because of the stamp..but i actually doubt that.
If the book itself is not ss related..its just a book with this stamp and yes, most likely from the libary of this San-Lager. To pass the time during the stay in Lazarett.
