Salut à toi. Lehrgruppe III, 10.Ispektion, Schule VI fuer Fahnenjunker d. Inf. Metz. For a french Guy for sure interesting because these are the Officer-candidates which were involved in the fighting around Metz (Ka.Gru. v. Siegroth).

On Sept.1st, your Guy must have been promoted to Lt, probably his personal Documents were not properly filled as he came to the hospital. Nevertheless, the Rank must have been at least "Fhj / Fahnenjunker", but well, the abbreviation and exact terms in hospitals were often not accurate.

I hope you have the rest of the Group, would be a pity if it is alone.

Of course, the historical and Financial Value would be much higher if the Award doc would have been signed and Stamped by the Schule VI.

If alone, the Financial value at the current time will not exceed 80 euros. Kind regards. Lionel.
