    Gentlemen;

    Could anyone identify the officer signing this letter of appreciation for New Years greetings he received?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    We believe he is a Luftwaffe General, but we cannot decipher his signature.

      Hello,

      This looks like the signature of Albert Vierling, General der Flieger.

      The 'V' is dramatically rendered, and appears almost like an 'O' to the casual observor, but I'm fairly certain this is his signature.
