Just received this nice EKII spange document with write-up and other documents. The documents are for Medic Max Knappe. Can someone translate the write-up for me? Thank you for your assistance. Jim

The first is for a Bulgarian Bravery medal 4th class (I'm guessing if you google it, you'll find pix EDIT: try here: https://www.google.de/search?q=solda...=0CAcQ_AUoAg); the second is for his requirement to report for duty in WW1.

Nick, They are harder to find although I had a couple. There was a set (EKI & EKII) at auction but I didn't like the beginning price. Jim

Spange docs to NCOs are not often seen at all. Along with the double shield award, that makes this grouping pretty special.

                          thanks

Thanks for the comments. The auction only listed the spange document as part of a document grouping, didn't mention the shield documents. Jim
