G. Prien's dedicace

Some years ago, a group of a member of the Scapa flow (U-47) was sold (not to me even if I have scans of the WP). Some months after, I was able to buy G. Prien's book dedicated to this guy - radio operator (from the original group).



Before I move it the book) for sale/trade on Estand, I will show it here for opinions

I have several Prien's signatures and letters. I note that the signature is not always exactly the same but nevertheless found certain characteristics.

A few points for discussion:
I find it unusual the note is undated (same for Michel's piece)

The 'p' in prien shows hesitation almost like being drawn

The G for first name is a style I have not seen post 1940

It is unusual to see just his first initial and not full name

Prien is a tough one because it is perhaps a relatively easy signature to forge.
I am not saying the book entry is fake but I am interested if anyone else finds it and Michel's similar page problematic.
