Value of 1928 3rd edition of Mein Kampf

Anyone know the value of a 1928 dated 3rd edition of Mein Kampf? It has the red cloth binding and the spine lettering is all but gone. Other than that it is in very good shape. I've seen first editions pop up every now and then but never a 3rd. My research can't locate any information on a third edition.

Thanks for the reply guys. $150 seems a bit low with the more common wedding editions going for around $100. Seems like a Kampfzeit edition prior to 1930 would be worth a bit more. I've tried to locate the one for sale in the auction link but get 4 pages of Mein Kampf and can't locate that one. Would you know what the starting/asking price is?

          Hey Richard,

Yes, I also thought that a $150 estimate was quite low. I checked out the link provided by frankandfrank, and this similar 1928 edition sold in a German auction on the 14th of this month for €450!

Here is a somewhat blurry cover image that the seller from this German auction provided......http://www.militaria321.com/auctionb...tionid=6441051

The 3rd edition of the pre-1930 MK's is the one least sought after.

Value is a function of condition, besides other things.

There are always items that sell for unreasonably high amounts - good for the seller !

Another auction house did not sell their copy at 200 Euro last week.

Thanks guys. I would imagine it being the least expensive and least sought after since, as I am aware, it is the final edition prior to 1930. I guess it is supply and demand and selling at the right time to the right buyer that counts with this one.
