Hi Hans ! Yes, you can find some Treasures in this Forum, and in he collecting community....
Here is one very interesting Doc. IMO, in relation with Brian R. nice EK.2 Doc from a Paratrooper of the 15./Fallsch.Ers.u.Ausb.Rgt.3. Here is a document I founded in my Archives from another Guy who served with the 4./ (4th Company, same Unit). Here is the List of the Close combat Days he had. I chose to protect some informations because I don' t want my contributions "feeds" the fakers. Of course, all Members taking part to the discussion can receive a clear scan from me (PM). IMO, the Iron Cross document from Brian is directly related to these Days in September, but the delay of attribution, and the transmission of data from this "unterstellte Einheit" to the division took some time, that is the reason why this document was made almost one month later.... Lionel.

Now IMO a very interesting one. K.H. Dollmann, born 1926. He visited as a minor 2 "Uffz-Vorschulen" (Wetzlar and Raversburg), and then, as a matter of consequence, was incorporated directly in the Heeres-Uffz-Sch.f.Infanterie Freiberg / Sachsen, and then sent to the Westfront with the 6./VGR.1120. On Sept.27th 1944, he was KIA high 253, South-Ost from FOSSIEUX (Fossingen in German), in Lorraine, and was posthumously awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class. Interesting are the 2 Close combat Days in this Sector mentioned side 47.Thanks to Hans, I know yet that apparently, most of the members of the 6./1120 had these 2 CC-Days attributed and mentioned in the Wehpass !
