Seekwhence is correct. These are well-known, and well-published images. Most, if not all, were published in the wartime book, 'Fliegende Front'.

    See: http://www.usmbooks.com/fliegende_front.html

The format is quite interesting, and nothing I have seen before. I can also attest that seekwhence does have some of the original wartime slides from this collection.

    Hope this helps,
    Astarr

Well, then the million dollar questions, would this be collectible or worth anything or just something to throw in the bin.
Not that that is going to happen... but still.

I wouldn't throw your postcards away; they do have some value... just not to the degree that you orginally believed.

Okay, well... not being hopeful, but I even if the pictures are not 'one of a kind' i still can't find proof in your comments that these are for sure postwar. Who says that all printings during the war where spot on and from good quality. I think we have to remember that printing color was not a common as now a days.
I'm more then willing to accept the fact that it might not be as rare as i believed it was, but still... we cant conclude its post war just because its not printed that well. We don't even know how they looked like in the first place, bad care over the years might have some influence.

You are talking about the book Fliegend Front. Is it possible to find out if all these photos came from the same correspondent back in the day ?
