Goering and SS collar patch query

Please can somebody tell me the meaning of the collar patch worn by Goering's SS driver?

It appears to be an officers No 6 Allgemeine tab / Berlin if my memory serves me well
Interestingly I've never seen numbered tabs on a field-grey tunic too
Also notice the early Allgemeine shoulder boards too
